2.2 MARPLOT Tools
.
There are tool buttons on the upper-left side of the MARPLOT screen. These buttons can help adjust the map you want to see. When you click on a tool icon, it becomes highlighted and your mouse cursor changes to the corresponding tool when it is in the map window.
.
2.2.1 Arrow Tool
.
The Arrow tool is used to select objects on the map. Whenever you click on the map with the arrow tool, a small, flashing, target-shaped icon called the Focus Point is placed at the location of the click. The latitude/longitude coordinates of the Focus Point are displayed in the upper-left corner of the map window.
.
You can also double-click on an object with the arrow tool to get the Object Settings dialog box for the object. This dialog box provides you with the settings of an individual object.
Please click on the Texas A&M University to see an example of Object Settings dialog box.
