2.2.5 Distance Tool
.  The Distance tool,  ,
is used to measure distances on the map with the mouse. To use this tool,
click on the map and drag while holding the button down. The mouse movement
defines a circle, with a radius drawn from the mouse to the location of the
initial click. The radius of the circle is displayed at the bottom of the map window.
