Provides Materials for 'The Junction Boys' Movie The Saturday night ESPN television movie, "The Junction Boys," and a special broadcast on the life and career of Paul "Bear" Bryant Friday night will feature vintage football footage, photos, and other materials provided by the staff of the Cushing Memorial Library and Archives at Texas A&M University. The collections of the Cushing Memorial Library, part of the Texas A&M University Libraries, were extensively utilized for the ESPN movie and related promotions and productions surrounding it. "Without the help of Cushing Library and its staff, we could not have made these projects happen," said Arunima Dhar, an executive producer for ESPN. ESPN Classic will air a special broadcast on the life and career of Paul "Bear" Bryant on Friday (Dec. 13) at 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. CST. "The Junction Boys" will air on ESPN on Saturday (Dec. 14) at 8 p.m. CST and will star Tom Berenger as Bryant. ESPN2 will repeat the movie at 10 p.m. CST.
