The library will be providing walk in sessions to help you get started on research for papers and projects this semester. The first ones are coming up...so mark your calendars!

Tuesday, September 12th
"Clueless?-Research 101"
Drop in either at 300pm-330pm or 530pm-600pm
"Curb your Enthusiasm" ...Learn fun ways to find information! Seriously!
Drop in either at 345pm-415pm or 615pm-645pm

Wednesday, September 13th
"Analyze This" ...Critically think about topics and use resources effetively.
Drop in either at 300pm-330pm or 530pm-600pm

"Liar, Liar (Don't be one!)" ...Learn about citing sources and helpful resources.
Drop in either at 345pm-415pm or 615pm-645pm

Welcome back! Sure is nice to see everyone back on campus and mingling around the library. Stop by the new Instructional Services lounge and check out the comfy furniture and '42 inch Flat Panel TV!

We can help you and your friends with research using our wireless laptops and the TV if you want! Just come on by, get a tour while your at it!

Library Gig 'Em Event-Success!!

Wow, I am amazed at the turn out of undergraduate students at the library Gig 'Em week presentation! We had over 100 students attend, that's great for the first time the library has hosted a Gig 'Em week event.

Just want to say thanks to the organizers of Gig 'Em week and the Regents Scholars Program for helping make this a success.

Also, thanks to all the students who attended, we hope you will find the info helpful and pass it onto your friends! We can host more events like this if you want, just let me know!
